Fund Raiser

Thanks to everyone who sold pizzas, subs, and burritos for our spring fund raiser. We work hard to keep our tuition costs low and one of the ways that happens is through our fund raisers.
We decided to support a local business this year and a big thanks goes out to Big Cheez for awesome support and service. This business went the extra mile in helping us with our sale and even gave us 15 percent of all the restaurant sales the night of our product pick up!

Enrollment

We began enrolling for the fall 2009 school year on February 12.
Our classes are filling up so if you would like to join us be sure to call for an appointment to visit.
As of March 16 we have just one spot open in our morning M/W/F class, and a few in the T/Th morning class.
The afternoon has more availability but that will be filling as well...so don't miss out on a great preschool opportunity!

Community helpers

Tuesday/Thursday students learned all about community helpers last week.
It takes a lot of people to keep us safe and healthy....doctors, nurses, fire fighters, teachers and more! Our threes had some special visitors at school to give them a close up look at what they do.
On Tuesday an ambulance made a visit and on Thursday a policeman came and spoke to the boys and girls.
The friends at Cherry Lane say thanks to our community helpers and all they do to make our lives better!

Today we read Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham! We had great fun cooking together and finding that most of us really did like those funny colored eggs!

Under the sea

This week the boys and girls in the Tuesday/Thursday class learned about the creatures who live in the sea. All kinds of ocean life activities were enjoyed including an art project making beautiful jelly fish. Our classroom is brightened by these awesome creatures hanging on display. Be sure to take a look next time you come in! The students did a great job!
