When you think of 19th street in Holland one would imagine that our school would be located in a busy residential area. That is not the case. We are fortunate to be in
a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. In the wooded area next to our building we are able to observe all kinds of wild life, including these turkeys who were having a leisurely walk today as I watched through the window at lunch time!
It's even more fun to see these gobblers when the students are at school! They get so excited when they come up the hill and around the corner only to find the turkeys in the road!
We all enjoy the sightings...and are happy to share our little neck of the woods with such fine feathered friends!
