ALL SCHOOL PICNIC

SEPTEMBER 12, 6:30 PM

We will be having our annual all school picnic at Smallenburg park on Fairbanks Rd. on Friday Sept. 12.
We have a great time every year getting to know each other over a meal and the kids have fun playing on the awesome playground.
This is a potluck so the first week of school a note will be in your child's cubby letting you know what type of dish to bring.
We provide table service so you will just bring your own beverage and ayour dish to pass.

We can't wait to see all of you in a few weeks!

summer adventure

Zoo phonics was our theme for the summer adventure class last week.
We took time to talk about all the animals from the zoo phonics program as well as a few others like the monkey and the whale.
We learned some sign language, made some great crafts and ended the week with a fun celebration with games, treats and even a pinata!
It was lots of fun, and reminded me that the fall is just around the corner.
I can't wait to see all the returning students as well as the new families at Cherry Lane.

upcoming dates

Mark your calendars for our Parent Orientation meeting taking place on August 19th at 6:00 p.m.
We will go over information regarding your roll as a parent at Cherry Lane, as well as talk about what the school year will bring for your child.
This meeting is very important and is for parents only.
We have a special night just for your preschooler too! That date is August 26 from 6-7:00. Come and meet the teachers and some of the students who will be in your child's class.
